Perler or Fuse beads are an inexpensive fun way to keep kids busy for an extended about of time.

Perler beads are plastic beads that you arrange on a board according to a pattern and melt with an iron to make into one solid piece. They can be bought at just about any craft store. There are many great patterns online that you can use but it makes it a lot easier for kids if you use a clear board and put the pattern underneath it so they don’t have to count but just match the colors. The template below lets you properly size any of the patterns you find online and print them out. Click on the image below, copy and paste in the design you want and then resize it until it matches the grid like the anchor in the example below. Lastly print and tape to the back behind your board for easy fun.
